The Tourism Department, Government of Jharkhand has invited offers from experienced and well qualified consultants of international and national repute having adequate experience of similar projects in India and abroad and capable in preparing Techno-Economic Feasibility reports and providing project management services for the comprehensive development of tourism in Jharkhand.
Jharkhand State is an ideal tourist destination as it is endowed with immense biodiversity, moderate climate, rich cultural and historical heritage, religious places of worship and ethnic aspects.
Details regarding submission of proposals can be obtained from ‘Terms of Reference For Constituting a Panel of Consultants for preparation of Techno-Economic Feasibility Report and providing Project Management Services for comprehensive development of tourism in Jharkhand’, available at the Department of Tourism, F.F.F. Bhawan, 2nd Floor, Dhurwa, Ranchi on any working day upon payment of Rs. 5000 in the form of DD payable to the Under Secretary, Department of Tourism, Jharkhand at Ranchi. It may also be downloaded from the website www.jharkand.gov.in , in which case the fee in the form of the DD should be enclosed with the bid document at the time of submission. The Department of Tourism, Government of Jharkhand has also invited Expression of Interest from interested parties/companies of repute in the field of hotel industry for setting up of various star category hotels in Ranchi, Deoghar, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and Dhanbad. This will solve the acute shortage of rooms in these places and promote the Tourism Industry in the State. The last date for submission of the Expression of Interest is July 2, 2008.
