The festivity is at its doorstep and Kerala Tourism Department as well as all responsible be­hind the event is spear­heading to make the sixth edition of Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) which is to be held in Kochi, a grand success. The KTM is the only tourism event in the sub-continent that brings together the business fra­ternity and entrepreneurs behind the tourism prod­ucts and services of Kerala.
From September 23-26, all eyes will be at Bolghatty Palace, the venue where the sixth edition of KTM will commence. As on August 10, 2010, the international registration is 484 and domestic is 1377. In order to get more In­ternational Buyers, the Buyers Committee has extended the closing date of the Buyers regis­tration to 14th August, 2010 said Mr. Johny Abraham George, Chairman, Buyers Committee.

Apart from these facilities, the KTM co-ordination committee is introducing a Speed Networking which will help the participant to make maximum number of introductions in an organized atmosphere in 2-3 minutes. Here the person has to bring his/her business cards or other printed materials that he/she wishes to share with his/her fellow net workers. While two or three minutes is not enough time to develop a real relationship with someone, it certainly breaks the ice at the beginning of the Mart.
Mr. Riyaz Ahammed, President of the KTM society is very happy about the final preparation of this years mart and informed a more festive mood will create at the new convention venue at Bolgatty Palace ground and expect­ing more peoples participa­tion this time. All is set and when the time arrives, the Kerala Tourist Mart will eas­ily fall on to the track which has been easily laid for the commuters by the committees.
