Air India Holidays gains popularity as more and more people avail of the services of Air India to plan their summer holidays. The packages offered by Air India are extremely attractive and at the same time suitable for all budgets, whether the destination is Leh or London, Manali or Male. The ‘Overseas LTC holiday packages’ is the latest one covering a wide range of destinations in India and abroad. The airline earned revenue of around Rs. 8.5 crores in the first 20 days of May with the selling of 1110 Air India Holiday Packages. In the 2007-08 financial year, the airline had earned revenue of Rs.74.10 crore from the sale of 13,120 holiday packages.
Air India has on offer over 400 comprehensive package options covering 150 cities in 22 Indian states and 10 international destinations. The international network was recently expanded to include London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur. The Mainland China package introduced in April takes the traveller to Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
A package normally includes return airfares, airport transfers, accommodation in standard 3-5 star hotels, meals and local sightseeing, all at economical prices.
