Acclaimed Chef Antonello Cancedda joins at JW Marriott Bengaluru

JW Marriott Bengaluru announced the appointment of Chef Antonello Cancedda as the new Italian Chef at the specialty Italian restaurant - ALBA. With over two decades of experience Antonello brings with him exceptional talent and understanding of an authentic Italian kitchen. A graduate from Scuola Alberghiera Restaurant and Hotel School of Genoa and an alumnus of Hotel and Restaurant school of Alassio, Italy, Chef Antonello is known to have inspired many great chefs from the world over to look at creativity in cooking from a different perspective.

 Coming from the JW Marriott Chandigarh where he headed the culinary operations of the Italian restaurant and bar, Oregano, Chef Antonello Cancedda’s main responsibility will be to translate his passion for creating unique flavours to cater to the distinct tastes of discerning guests at ALBA. Chef Antonello, who is known for his passion for Italian food and attention to detail will look to converge his love for classical Italian flavors and ingredients with contemporary cooking techniques. Heading ALBA, Chef Antonello Cancedda will also look into the overall management of the kitchen and introduction of new trends in food presentation.

Antonello has worked in some of the most prestigious Hotels and restaurants in Europe, Canada, Asia and United States. He has been instrumental in the pre-opening and launch of some renowned hotels including ‘Novecento’ at Grand Hotel Savoia in Genoa Italy. Before moving to JW Marriott Chandigarh in his first Indian stint, he worked at Allegro \" the Italian Restaurant at Movenpick Hotel Ramallah as the Head Chef.
